Sallyanne Oettinger leads Learning Design and Development for IBM. She is responsible for a global team that helps IBMers build the skills, knowledge, attitudes, and behaviors necessary to deliver value for clients, drive growth of the business, and support engagement and performance among teams. She is also responsible for the Resilience Offering Portfolio. Prior to this role, Sallyanne served as Chief of Staff to the HR Vice President for Leadership, Learning and Inclusion, and was the Talent and Operations Leader for a digital transformation team within IBM’s Digital Business Group. Before joining IBM, Sallyanne served in various leadership roles in digital learning transformation, design, and higher education. She started her career in HR consulting, working with clients such as Merrill Lynch, Johnson & Johnson, and Stanford University. Sallyanne graduated from Boston College with a B.A. English.
